More importantly, How are you? Wasn't Idell's last name Schroeder? I had a query a few years ago from a Bonnie Michelbook, but unfortunately I put it off and now her email is out of date. In her email it did outline some of her family lineage. Since this query is four years old you may already know all of this but I thought I would try.

    1. [DUNN] Henry Muncy obituary
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Muncy, Dean, Mitchell Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/gFC.2ACI/1335 Message Board Post: Hudson Star and Times 7 December, 1883 page 4 column 3 Henry Muncy was born in Ohio, Sept. 22nd, 1823; died in Hudson, Wis., Dec 4th, 1883 being in the sixty-first year of his age. The earlier years of his life were spent in the vicienty (sic) of his berth (sic) place. Here he was married to Miss Mary Mitchell and here their first child, John was born. He moved from Ohio into Illnois where he lived but a few years and again moved, settling in Iowa. In 1860, Mr. Muncy visited Wisconsin, well satisfied with the promise of obtaining a home, he decided to remove his family to this state which he did in the spring of 1861, settling in Menomonie. Here the first daughter Edith was born, and here too the wife and mother sickened and died. In 1868 Mr. Muncy married Miss Lydia J. Dean, a worthy and most estimable lady who proved a devoted wife. In 1872, after a residence in Menomonie of nearly twenty years the family moved to this city, which has since been their home. Mr. Muncy was a man of quiet and unobtrusive habit, esteemed by his associates as a worthy man, a considerate and faithful friend. He was an affectionate husband, a kind and indulgent father. His illness was of short duration; the disease, pleuro-pneumonia, from the first assumed a malignant type, and all attempts to stay its progress seemed unavailing. The stricken family received the sympathy of the enitre community. An invalid wife, her aged mother, and a family of eight boys and girls, the youngest an infant are thus thrown upon their own limited resources, without a fathers experience and counsel to direct and aid them. The older children are examples of devotion to family interests and are worthy the confidence and assistance of their friends. May He who is the "Widow's God, and a Father to the fatherless" comfort and sustain them in their hour of sore trail. Not related.

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/gFC.2ACI/1328 Message Board Post: Looking for any info on PIERSON and KELLY families. JOHN and JANET PIERSON family migrated from North Simcoe, Ontario, Canada abt 1881, bringing with them twin daughters, JANE and HENRIETTA, b. 02/02/1869, and at least two sons, ROBERT and TED (possibly Edward)PIERSON. The PIERSON'S may also have had other children. CHARLES KELLY moved to WI with his family from Dutchess Co, NY sometime after his birth in 1850. CHARLES and JANE PIERSON KELLY (marriage date and place unknown), birthed 4 boys in Barronett...John T Kelly, b. Bef 1889, Harry Charles (or Charles Henry) Kelly, b. 09/21/1889, Bernard E Kelly, b. 12/07/1891, and William R Kelly, b. 10/22/1893. First son, John, died from Diptheria before 1910. The family moved on to Shell Lake, Washburn County sometime between 1893 and 1896. They had 3 more children in Washburn Co, Genevieve Beatriece Kelly, b. 05/08/1896, Merton (male) and Myrl (female) Kelly (twins), b. 04/10/1898. The family moved on to Pratt (Grand View), Bayfield County around 1900, where charles Kelly worked as a camp foreman for the WillowRiver Lumber Co. for 17 years. The family then moved on to Superior, Douglas Co. I have no records regarding CHARLES KELLY before the birth of his son Harry in 1889. His obituary from the Telegram in Superior, dated 02/14/1923, states that he was born in Dutchess Co, NY in 1851. His gravestone at Calvary Cemetery in Superior states 1850 as birth year. JANE PIERSON's family emigrated from Ontario, Canada abt 1881, according to Bayfield Co. 1910 Census records. I can only assume, at this point, that Barron County is where Jane and Charles met. Any look-ups or information regarding the PIERSON and KELLY families would be gratefully appreciated. I do have the birth registrations for all the Kelly children except John T. Kelly. Thank you so much.
