I recently discovered that my great-great grandfather, David Crist, his wife Ellen Hoover Crist, and their children William, James, Harry, and Irwin, lived in Rock Creek, Dunn County, Wisconsin. I'm still unable to locate any further information on this family. I do have evidence that David Crist's parents were born in Pennsylvania, but beyond that, I have no further information. If anyone knows of the origin of the Crist/Christe family surname, please e-mail me. Thank you.

I have very little info to assist me on my search (mainly on the Internet). He was stationed in Philadelphia or NJ during 1965. He might be in his mid 50's to 60' now. He may have been from the WI, MN or MI area. I may have met him when I was very young, but I'm not sure. Also I have a picture that I believe is him, from around 1965. Would just like to find him and know some family history, if nothing else. Any info please contact me at trazeey@yahoo.com Thank you

Martha Mansfield and my grandmother, Ernestine Langmann, were baptismal sponsors for Beverly Dorothy Schoknecht, daughter of Ferdinand Schoknecht and Anna (nee) Fink. I am looking to figure out the relationship between the Langmans and the Finks. A Fink was sponsor for my grand parent's immigration to the US. It is my understanding that they were related in Germany.
