After my latest update my genealogical homepage shows a family branch which extends from Germany to Australia/South Africa and to Northern America - see the "Klein Henstedt - Lueke Ordemann" genealogy. "Germans to America" can also be found in other genealogies on the page, especially in the small new branch "Siedenburg". Smith. With her when she passed away were her mother and father and sister, Nellie, who is a teacher in the county, having graduated from the Normal three years ago. The remains were taken to the family home in Downsville yesterday forenoon, and the funeral will be held at that place Friday at 1'0clock p.m. The school was greatly shocked when last Wednesday Miss Goble taken suddenly and seriously sick and removed to her room, and since then her condition has been followed with anxious interest by her school mates. Peritonitis was the cause of death, and nothing could check the advance of the dreaded malady. A nurse was provided by her father, Chris Goble of Downsville, and no effort was overlooked to save her life, but it was to no avail. Miss Goble was 19 years old, and a favorite with all who knew her. Her untimely death has cast a gloom over the school.
I do know that the years from 1939 to 1955 ( maybe more) there were familys of the Kunz name in Knapp. My grandparents lived there, but thats all I can remember. Direction to Waubeek cemetery. From Menomonie take Hwy 25 south towards Durand. About three to four miles out of Menomonie, there will be a well marked detour because the bridge is out at Downsville. The detour will be Cty Rd K that will take you through Irvington and then to Hwy 72 that will take you back Hwy 25 just the other side of Downsville. Continue south towards Durand abt 10 miles to Cty Rd D on your right. Take D towards Eau Galle, and about one to two miles on the right will be Waubeek Cemetery. Using my directions, and a Wisconsin road map, you will have no trouble. Jeanne

In 1860 Aurora Harrington, Aurora, Daniel, Catherine, Timithy and John lived in Spring Brook. In 1859 the father, James Harrington, died. In 1855 James Harrington lived in Dunnsville, with 2 females and 4 males. They lived next to Isaac Drewry, which is where I connect to the Harrington. Isaac's wife was Mary Harrington. These people appear to have come from Ireland, with children born in New Brunswick. I also think I may have seen a marriage or baptism of children of Daniel Harrington and Maggie Cosgrove. Connection.? I would like to hear what else you know of your Harrington family.

Do you think there may be a link?
Doubtful there was any sort of newspaper in Louisville. They would have gotten the Dunn County News or Eau Claire Leader or another of the Dunn County papers that published at the time. - Linda At 10:57 PM 9/20/2003 -0700, you wrote: >What was the main Newspaper in Louisville around 1926?????????? > >Robin
