Stephen Biss and Emma Richmond marriage cert. Dunn CO WI Vol 3 Pg 405 Stephen parents James Biss and Martha Powell(?); no occupation listed; resided at New Haven Dunn CO ; born WI; white. Emma parents William Richmond and Mary Wait; born Dunn CO WI; white. Married 24 Feb. 1894 at Knapp Dunn CO WI by C. M. Fletcher; witnessed by Arthur McCullach and Ida May McCullach. Decided to send them before I set them aside and can't find them for years!!!!!!! I always check the other names on the pages I flip to or am working on JUST IN CASE. Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at one o'clock at the home and 1:30 o'clock at St. John's Evangelical church of which she was a member. The Rev. O. E. Hoffman of Beyer Settlement officiated and burial was made in the Iron Creek cemetery. Mary Cook, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Cook, deceased, was born in Menomonie, April 9, 1866, and has always made her home in Dunn county. She was united in marriage to Robert Cook March 29, 1889, and to this union six children have been born, one of whom, Vernon, died at the age of three years. Those left to mourn her lass with her husband are five children, Mrs. W. E. Hennessey (Elsie), of Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Robert Rossiter (Sarah) of the town of Red Cedar, Mrs. William Scharlau (Margaret) of the town of Elk Mound, Leonard at home, and Albert of the town of Spring Brook; one sister, Mrs. Henry Otto, of Menomonie; one brother, Albert Cook,of Rice Lake; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the home at 1:30 o'clock and at St. Paul's Lutheran church at 2 o'clock. The Rev. William Keturakat officiated. Burial was made in the church cemetery. Mr. Cook was born April 2, 1854, in Pennsylvania. he came to Dunn county with his parents at the age of four years and has lived on a farm in the town of Red Cedar, where he lived until he was thirty-one years old. He moved to his own farm in 1883, where he has lived since. On Nov. 25, 1885, Mr. Cook was married in Menomonie to Mary Beyer of the town of Red Cedar. Thirteen children were born to this union, two having preceded Mr. Cook in death. Surviving with Mrs. Cook are Mrs. E. C. Schroeder, Robert and Louis of the town of Red Cedar, William and Henry, Jr., of Menomonie, Arthur, Mabel, Merwyn and Irene at home, Mrs. Arthur Harms of St. Paul, and Nicholas of Eau Claire. Carrie was the sister to my gggrandfather, William Andrew Morgan. I do have the Miner's in 1880 census, found the birth records in Washington County for Leonard and Frank. Searched the Dunn County vital records for marriages for Florence, Leonard and Frank - none. Have marriage date for Carrie and Charles - 20 January 1870, Washington County, MN. That's all I have. I've tried to find any of them in the 1900 census, but have not been able to so far. I've started expanding the search to Minor. Have you found out any more since you posted in Aug?

Son of Daniel W. and Maria Amanda (Pickard) Clough. Dell married Louise Matilda Morgan in 1894. They had four children, one of which was my grandmother (Irma). Daniel Adelbert and Louise lost one child ca. 1902 which could be Roy. Daniel Adelbert had a brother David that died in 1895, but I don't know if this would be the David at New Haven Cemetery or not. If this looks like what you are looking for, perhaps I can give you more info.

I've visited the house that the Andrews built in Thornford ca. 1777 and have located his parents tombstone in the Thornford church cemetary. Thank you for posting this site! Great info and photos!
