These were docks built around the Great Lakes. My husband's great-grandfather worked for such a company back then. The only company name we have is the Mead Morrison Manufacturing Co. based out of Chicago IL. Other places where he worked on docks were Fort William, Ontario Canada, Duluth MN, Ripley MI & Hancock MI. We're not sure if he worked for the same company in all these locations or different ones in each locality. The one built in Canada we know was a coal dock. Thanks for any help that can be given.
