LeMIER, 75, 5904 Butler Ave., died Monday morning at a local hospital. He was born Dec 17, 1900 in Beaver Bay, Minn., and had been a Superior resident more than 55 years. Mr. LeMier was a retired carpenter and machinist and was a member of the Ojibway Tribe No. 5, Order of the Redmen and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local No. 755. Survivors include his wife, Ester; two daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Vivian) Starr, St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Kenneth C. (Dorothy) Johnson, Superior; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Olson, St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Harold (Irene) OLson, Duluth; three brothers, William, Duluth, Roy, Proctor, Minn., and Paul, Fargo, N.D.; three gradchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday at the Downs Funeral Home. The Rev. Arlen D. Hermodson, pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in the family lot at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harold Erickson, Herb Schweiger, J! ohn Honkanen, Donald Clark, Tony Fedyn and Terry Prine. Visitation at the funeral home continues through Tuesday evening and Wednesday until the time service. (source: The Evening Telegram October 12, 1976)
