My grandfather Ralph Wilson Bartholomew joined the service 1919. I believe it was from this area. The military has not sent me his records even apon requests. Is there some way I can find out if they were still in Wi during this time. I can find no proof of him being born there although his brother was and his social security registration says he was. Any way to get proof. I have contacted birth records and they didn't find anything. His father John L Bartholomew was a lineman for Douglas County Telephone in 1907. Any history books on this. Or maybe a phone # to talk to them. Also the house # is 628 John Ave. Is this house still there? Thanks for any help possible....Rouleen
