Gale, I list 49 Metzger's in my family tree. However, Samuel does not come up on my list. My Metzger's immigrated from Bavaria, Germany to Delphus Ohio 1853, moved onto Munich, MN., and finally onto Superior, WI, where two brothers opened a butcher shop.
