I wish I could take you up on your so very kind offer to search at the Courthouse for me, but unfortunately I have no idea when, or indeed who for that matter, a Vinette died in Douglas County. I just recently found a Marriage Certificate for a relative from Superior, and I'm just guessing that they also died in Douglas County. I will contact the Register of Deeds and ask them to check for me, with the best estimate of dates I can come up with. I live in Waukesha County, so scanning the newspaper is out of the question, unless by some chance the Milwaukee Public Library should have microfilms of the Evening Telegram.
