Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ZFC.2ACI/582 Message Board Post: I would like to find out where I would write to for copies of obituaries in Superior, Wisconsin. Would it be a library or a newspaper? I only have years of death, not month or date. I found this on the Douglas County Cemetary website. They were buried in Greenwood Cemetary. I would appreciate any information. Thank You.

It has old newspaper articles from Wisconsin. There are many articles from Superior. I wouldn't rely on the name search, I've read many articles with names that it didn't include in their "associated names". http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/wlhba/articleSearchAdv.asp

    3. Does anyone have connections to John McGuire who lived in Superior in 1897? I found an obit for his sister-in-law, Mrs. Henry Richards (nee Isabella Grier) who was visiting there from Savanne, Ont. when she died, presumably from childbirth on July 30 of that year. I am also looking for descendents of Henry Richards. Isabella Grier might be buried in Nemadji Cemetery, but she was not in the records kept at the Superior Library. Donna in MD
