    2. Could someone please see if there is any information on the Bracher name between 1865-1875 in this area. My great grndfather in law was born 1870 supposedly in Minnesota Point or Bayfield. His father should have been on the census or some record somewhere in the area. I believe the mother was Indian or part Indian. Anything would be helpful. Thanks, Joann

Residence: 1508 Broadway St. Born: July 31, 1883, Wisconsin. Died: Aug 25, 1930, Superior, WI. Father: John Olson, b.Norway. Mother: no record, b. Norway. Burial: Black River Falls, WI, on Aug 28, 1930, by J.E. Nichol, undertaker. Informant: Edward Albertson. Birth Certificates are also indexed there for: Evelyn Irene, b Dec 30, 1908 Vol. 2, page 282. Howard LaVern, b July 9, 1919 Vol 13, page 204. Carl Gordon, b May 12, 1921, Vol 16, page 361. I don't know if these two are related or not, but they are listed also: Clinton Everett, b July 12, 1902, vol 45, page 432. George Albertson, b June 6, 1907, Their Father: George, a meat cutter. Their Mother, a housewife: Josie Peterson. Vol D, page 594. There are several listings for both George and Olaf Albertson in the Superior City Directories between 1920 and 1955. 1920, Olaf was a pipefitter for Superior Shipbuilding Co, and lived at 1120 John Av. George ran People's Meat & Prov Co. at 2328 Butler Av. 1926, Olaf was a policeman, living at 1213 Broadway. Ole Albertson was listed as a Carpenter for GNRy, living at 604 Tower. 1929, Petra is listed at 1508 Broadway, as the widow of Olaf, she is a janitress at Lincoln School; also living with her are Evelyn, a clerk, and Edward, a driver. 1936, the only Albertson listed is Edward, Clerk for RJ Mawdsley, r. 1311 John Av 1954, Edward Albertson(and wife Helen) live at 1302 Ogden Av Apt#1. Albert is listed, a carpenter for GNRy, who lives at 429 Ogden Ave. 1955, Mrs. Helen is listed alone. Died: Oct 12, 1964, Chaffey Nursing Home, Superior, Douglas County, WI. Residence: 412 1/2 23rd Avenue East, Superior, WI. Father: Edward Seed. Mother: Margaret Dodd. Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Superior. Informant: Mary W. Ramstad, Daughter. If you want a copy, they sell them for $7.00, I think. The Courthouse address is 1313 Belknap Street, Superior, WI 54880. There were no Seeds or Wehrens listed in 1946 or 1948, but Emily Larsen was listed as the widow of Chas, at 609 Grand Av. In 1950, Amelia was listed as the widow of Chas, but at 1712 N 21st St. She was not listed in any future directories. In 1950, Jos C and "Elizabelle" are living at 2232 E 5th St. There were no further entries for the Seed family. 1957, Jos C and Isabelle moved to 504 24th Avenue E. 1961, Isabelle is living there alone, and is listed as the widow of Jos C. 1962, Isabelle moved to 412 1/2 2rd Avenue East.
