Dear Gloria, There was a fire in 1877 at the Dodge county court house where the records were kept. Beaver Dam Community library, 311 N. Spring Street, Beaver Dam, WI is a library that has many cemetery listings. Give them a call or write them and they should be able to locate your Dodge county buried relatives. This library also has newspapers on microfilm which may contain obituaries for your relatives. If you have not done so yet the Vital Record of Madison, WI would be worth a try. it costs $7.00 for a death certificate or for the search if a death certificate cannot be found.(Vital Records, P. O. Box 309, Madison, WI 53702. Send a self-addressed stamped envelope along with your personal check.) It takes any where from 3 weeks to 3 months depending on the demand for their services.
