    3. My ancestor Louis/Leo Adler came to America in July of 1870. That year he filed papers in Dodge Co. WI to declare his intent to become an American citizen. He did not remain in WI very long and was in Lucas Co. OH by 1875. I have researched the family in Lucas Co. and can't seem to find any information on his origins prior to immigration other than that he was from Prussia. When he came to Wisconsin he had a 9 month old son, Oscar Adler who did not survive to come to Ohio. While there his wife, Florence/Florentine Sacolowsky gave birth to a daughter-Clara W. Adler on 9 June 1871. Her death certificate said she was born in Ironrich-I think they meant Iron Ridge. Anyhow, this family belonged to the German Reformed Lutheran Church in Toledo and I would assume that they would have belonged to one in Dodge Co. Can anyone tell me what Lutheran churches were operating in the 1870s near Iron Ridge? Are there records available? Glad for any assistance as I'm very stuck on this line, Mindy mshadle@prodigy.net
