Hi Valerie, I am not an expert in Dodge County records. Just a couple thoughts. Do you know what church they attended in Dodge County? Often cemeteries had a church connection. For instance, my family was mostly buried in the Old Lutheran Cemetery north of Watertown. That is not listed in an LDS records. You also might ask at that family church for church records of death and birth. I have had extremely good luck with church records. (And bad - letters not answered at all!) If you don't know the name of the church, you might want to contact all the churches in the town that make sense. The towns are not large. There is a wonderful archivist at the ARC the covers Dodge County. He is extremely helpful, and might have some death records, cemetery records, and immigration records. Have you ordered death certificates for all their children? Birth records for their children? They often list (hopefully filled in) the places of birth of parents. What are you looking for exactly - the place of birth? Parents' names? Good luck. I have some brick walls too. Sigh. Sincerely, Katherine Bellingham, WA
