I've found a George BODENDORFER listed in the 1850 census in Theresa, Dodge County, WI. With wife Barbara & 1 yr. old daughter Anna. My George BODENDORFER is in the Muskegon County Michigan 1860 census with wife Martha E. and 1 yr. old daughter Emma. George is the right age to be the same person. Martha & George were supposed to have come to Michigan from Wisc. in mid 1850's. Is there a city directory or some other means to see where George & Barbara went. If these age the same man, did he desert wife & child # 1--or did they die? Can anyone on the list help me connect the two George's? Thank you in advance! i-be-leve@msn.com
