Pommern, Prussian family immigated to Town oF Theresa, Dodge COunty Wisconsin in 1843. They were Lutheran. This is near the prsent day village of Theresa and the City of Mayville. The family was that of Micheal Gottlieb Zimmermann and his wife Fredericke(nee Kuehl). His father was Johann Zimmermann from Wollin, Pomerania, Prussia. Bertha Zimmerman (b. May 21, 1874 d. February 19, 1932) married to Frederick Vergenz (b. June 1865) On the 1900 census they lived in Milford, Jefferson Co., WI Also, 1900 he had a boarder staying with them: Zimmerman, Frank A. (born 1871) his occupation was Book Keeper, note he was the census taker. Is this your line? This is the only information I have on the Zimmerman's Zimmerman's are not my direct line, but I am researching the Bussewitz's who lived in that same area.
