Hi Listers........I have spent endless hours trying to find the parents of my great grandmother,HARRIET A.CHILDS NEWTON. She was from New Hampshire, and married THOMAS L.NEWTON of Beaver Dam.I found her in the 1850 census while she was still single and living in Hanover,New Hampshire.But she was in a Boarding House....no parents mentioned. Harriet was mother to my grandmother,Metta Newton (Barber). She did in 1919 in Beaver Dam and Thomas died the following year. If you have any information regarding Harriet, I would be thrilled.......... Thanks in advance, Judie
