I keep hitting brick walls searching for my grandfather, William GOODENOUGH, in Dodge or surrounding counties. I have no information on him at all. He married (year/place unknown) my grandmother, Elnora (aka Elinor, Eleanore, Nora, etc.) Mathilde GENSMER. Elnora was born 1903 in Juneau, Dodge, WI, and died 30 May 1974 in Beaver Dam, Dodge, WI. I show the Goodenough's living at 113 N. Lincoln, Beaver Dam in 1936 (no source listed). Elnora married a second time (Dubuque, IA) in 1940 to Ervin R. ZIRBEL, and a third in 1956 (Beaver Dam) to Marvin A. SPARS. Elnora GENSMER lived on Center St., in Juneau, with her family: Emil (dad), a blacksmith, Emilie (mother); and siblings: Agnes, Della, Minnie, Alfred, Ida, and Dorothea.
