Subject:1855 WI State Census Check for me also please? Is there an angel who could check the 1855 WI State Census for me? I'm still trying to get a handle on my George BODENDOERFER/BODENDORFER. There was one listed with a wife Barbara & daughter Anna. Barbara is listed as buried @ St. John's Evang. Church--Kuhburg, Washington Co. date of death Nov. 9, 1954. I had found this family living in Dodge County, Theresa Township. Isn't this place near by Kuhburg? "My" George was my great-great-grandfather. I have "my"George possibly in Michigan by Nov. 1856. coming from WI...without a daughter. I'd guess these 2 fellers are the same guy. Where would a marriage record be for George & Barbara? I would love whatever information the census might have on him and whom ever is in the household with him. I will gladly reimburse for expenses and time. Thank you in advance!
