Hi list, I'm looking for info about the Wisconsin State Prison that I believe is in Dodge County. In the 1900 state census, an ancestor of mine was listed as being an inmate...and I'd like to learn more about his incarceration. His name was Herman HORN b. March 1850. His wife, Auguste Lemke b. 1860, died suddenly of an extra uterine pregnancy in 1896, and then the next thing I know, the kids are living with relatives, and Herman's in prison. Where do I go to view inmates records from that period? Are there any sites on the Web, to be accessed? Anyone have any thoughts? Michelle
