Hello List, Nancy, There was a fire in 1877 in Dodge county courthouse so most if not all records were destroyed. Newspapers go way back. Perhaps an obituary or wedding announcement might give you some clues. Beaver Dam Community library has newspapers on microfilm. They also have many, not all, cemeteries indexed and on file. The address for the library is: 311 N. Spring Street, Beaver Dam, WI 53916-2043. This is a county library for Dodge County. You can get a photo copy of the articles for a small amount of money too. Have you tried ordering a film from the Family History Center that is a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in your area? For a small mailing fee $3.50 you can rent a film for 3 weeks to view at the Center. Public is welcome. Hope this helps, Jane
