    3. Mary, I really doubt that the two Georges are one and the same. It would have been really hard to be on the 1850 census in two different states, with two different wives, and two different one year old babies. Not impossible. But, also, not too likely. I would look to see if there are still two Georges on the 1860 or 1870 census records. With wife Barbara & 1 yr. old daughter Anna. "My" George BODENDORFER is in the Muskegon County Michigan 1860 census with wife Martha E. and 1 yr. old daughter Emma. George is the right age to be the same person. Martha & George were supposed to have come to Michigan from Wisc. in mid 1850's. > > Is there a city directory or some other means to see where George & Barbara went. > If these age the same man, did he desert wife & child # 1--or did they die? > Can anyone on the list help me connect the two George's? > Thank you in advance! > i-be-leve@msn.com > > ==== WIDODGE Mailing List ==== > > ============================== > Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration > Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
