    1. [WIDODGE] Watertown Directory lookup pls
    2. Does anyone have access to this directory? If so, would you mind looking up the entry under the name lauersdorf? The Watertown Directory, City Record and Business Advertiser for 1866-1867 I was approached by someone selling microfische on ebay, and would much rather have one of you kind souls help me out, rather than pay 12 bucks plus shipping to find out it's my name but only listed with no information. Thanx much! Sally Lauersdorf Hagen {{Dodge County names I'm researching: LAUERSDORF, SHULZ, GRULKE, HENKE Milwaukee Area names SCHULIST, LONSKI, LUKOWITZ, MALISZEWSKI, LISAKOWSKI, NADOLNA, DAVIDSON (of Wolf and Davidson Shipping Yards - not of Harley-Davidson), BOYD or BEUGHT, Waukesha area NOVILLA, GREGUSKA, BERANEK, LISKA and The Elon and Galusha Fuller Families.}}

She has renewed my interest in my Moldenhauer line from Lebanon, Dodge Co., WI. I have a Moldenhauer booklet that gave a lot of my family line history (some not entirely accurate, but over all it's pretty good.) So, I have never actually researched Dodge Co. myself and now I am interested in obtaining primary source records for this line. I have a subscription to the online ancestry census records, but they have no index yet. There are 469 pages of Dodge Co. for the 1850 census. Can anyone point me to the page numbers that I would need for Lebanon? According to the book "Cemetery Locations in Wisconsin" (a very useful book compiled by Linda Herrick and Wendy Uncapher; first published by Origins in 1998, reprinted with minor corrections in 1999; about $20), the only St. Matthew's cemetery in Dodge County is Lutheran. There is a St. Matthew's Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee County. In this same reference book, there is mention of a St. Mathew's cemetery in Dodge County, with an alternate name of St. Bartholomew's Catholic Cemetery. Rollie

    1. [WIDODGE] Buggy Axel .....more
    2. Melmouse
    3. Okay, I went out and took a closer look at it this morning....there is a small metal plate on what I would guess would have been the middle of the wooden part of the axel....it says "Hoernlein..."(can't read that word, will have to clean it up some more) and then the next line says "Horicon". The wood is pretty much dry-rotted and in bad shape. The iron (no doubt it is anything else, as this thing is HEAV-Y!) is pretty rusted. Anyone have any ideas on how to clean this poor thing that has been hidden in that wall most likely since the garage was built in the 1950-51 time frame?
