I've "rescued" an old photograph of Frank MOSHER which was taken at the Brooks Studio in Waupun, WI. The photograph is dated 1899 with Frank appearing to be about 6 years old at the time. I'm hoping to locate someone from Frank's family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of his family. I've "rescued" two old photographs belonging to the SMITH Family of Wisconsin. The first is one of Leonard and Emma SMITH which was taken at the Sawyer Studio in Horicon, WI. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with the couple in their teens or 20's at the time. The second photograph is one of Morris SMITH which was taken at the Mason's Art Gallery in Marshfield, WI. This photograph was also taken in the 1890's with Morris just an infant at the time. In addition to his name, someone has written "died at Marshfield" on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding this SMITH Family: Leonard John SMITH was b. 2 Jan 1875 in Iron Mountain, WI to parents William SMITH (1837-1916) and Anna Marie LATCH (1846-1896). Leonard was one of 9 children born to this couple including, Caroline; Ruebin; Dagmer; Leonard J.; Florence; Hallie; Willie; Arthur; and Sidney SMITH all born between 1868 and 1882. Leonard married Emma CUNDY (1879-1944) and together they had 5 children including, Morris H.; Alma Alice; Alfred Hiram; Ellen May; and Carol Emma SMITH, all born between 1899 and 1921. Leonard d. 23 Jan 1970 in Port Edwards, WI and is buried in the Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield, WI. Emma CUNDY was b. 28 Oct 1879 in Champion, MI to parents Thomas CUNDY (1852-1916) and Emma HILL (1853-1942). Emma married Leonard John SMITH (1875-1970) and she died 12 Jun 1944 and is also buried in the Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield, WI. Morris H. SMITH was b. 10 Jul 1898 and d. 27 Sept 1928 and is also buried in the Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield, WI. Shelley I have a 2010-2011 Dodge County phone book and there are 26 Andrews in the book. There are no Andrews with the first name of Merton, Benjamin, Ann, Annette or Adela in the book. The people from the 1910 census are more than likely dead and they probably didn't give any of their children there first name. I checked Ancestry to see if anyone had a family tree with any of the above names but there were none. Benjamin married Anna RHEINER, the couple had at least three children including Annette ANDREWS (b. 1855); Lucy Adella ANDREWS (1862-1921); and Martin or Merton ANDREWS (b. 1867). There are 20 Mann's listed as of 2010/2011 in Dodge County with some in Mayville. I can give you a phone number or and an address for a Mann. Do you have a first name. Do you have Ancestry for the US? I have Ancestry and there are a number of Mann's showing up in the 1940 US census in Dodge County. Coleen I was at the courthouse in Juneau a couple of days ago. I found a death record for Jerusha Tucker. She was born on 5 Apr 1827 in E. Hampton Mass, she died on 28 Jun 1898 in Fox Lake, her father was Elija Gloyd, her mother was Jerusha Hanner (it was hard to read her mothers last name I'm guessing on Hanner), both parents were born in Plainfield Mass, she was widowed, her husband was Daniel G. Tucker (I looked for a death record for Daniel but didn't find one), the record was in vol 2 page 421. If you have any questions on the above let me know what they are and I will try to answer them. Or if you have any more lookups let me know what they are and I will add them to my list. I really do not know much about her other then what I found on Ancestry.com. I do not know anything more than this. did not get a response when I asked the person to contact me about this lady so am still waiting to see what they found that I did not, Last I knew she was in Cowley Co KS in 1880 and 1885 as a widow her age was said to have been 57. She had a daughter Martha Ann married in NE, another daughter in MO another in KS.

Do you think she lived in town or out on a farm? If in town, then there's probably only one or two churches to check. If on a farm, then I would try to find a plat map for the area and then check the church closest to the home farm.
