Henry Goodenow born in Bergen (Genessee Co.), N.Y. Son of William (G.orC) & E.(O/Q) GOODENOW Living in Montrose, Dane Co., Wi. He was a Black smith Married Alma E. Ellis, dau of Norman and Alma ELLIS They were married in a legal ceremony in Fitchburg, Dane Co., Wi. on 20 Mar 1869. It looks like he put his adopted parents as his parents, if you believe that he is the adopted son that ELizabeth mentions in her obit, which I believe is correct. There is a George Goodenow family in Bergen in 1850. He is a blacksmith, and born abt 1806. Most likely related to William Goodenow.
