She was married to Nick Illgen of the same place in 1884. They resided in the town of Springfield and neighboring places until fourteen years ago when the family moved to a farm in the town of Windsor, then to the town of Sun Prairie, and finally eight years ago they removed to the town of Bristol where she died Tuesday, January 4, just five days before her fifty-first birthday. She was the mother of three children one son Asa, and two daughters, Louisa and Tracy. She leaves to mourn her loss besides the bereaved husband and children, five sisters and two brothers; Mr. Rose Williamson of Sun Prairie, Mrs. Belle Schofield of Poynette, Mrs. Adeline Warren of Dillou, Oklahoma, Mrs. Margret Pinney of Seattle, Washington, Mrs. Ann Paine of Milltown, South Dakota, Marion Hayes of Sun Prairie and Grin Hayes of Boone, Iowa. Two brothers and two sisters have preceded her to the great beyond. She was a kind, loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The funeral will be held from the late home at eleven o'clock and at the Congregational Church in Sun Prairie at two o'clock Friday, January 7, 1910. Rev Stark will officiate. Interment will be in the village cemetery. I am always interested in many of the families that I have obits for.
