From this site you can find out there GAR Posts were located. Most records have been lost. The WHS and Wis. Veteran's Museum have some. A few local historical society may have them or some may have been past on to the local VFW or Am. Legion Posts. There is no definite answer. I am not sure about your first question. I think any State Historical Society or the Veterans Museum could answer this questions. Sorry I can't give you a better answer.
