Looking for the marriage record of Cornelia PALON and Ira Daniel AMES. They were married on 25 Jun 1868 in Dane County according to entry in a family Bible my cousin has in her possession but all the entries in the Bible are in same handwriting so it looks like everything was put in at once many years after the marriage. I have not been able to find the marriage certificate for this couple. I do not know what religion they were or if married in a church. Looking for information on Cornelia PALON. Know nothing about the PALON family. No idea if they were long term residents of Dane County Wisconsin. Ira served in the Civil War and signed up in Dane County. The couple lived in Dane, Rock, and Jefferson Counties in Wisconsin. They lived in Milton Junction, Albion, and Lake Koshkonong. Cornelia Palon died in Jefferson County at Lake Koshkonong, Wisconsin in a sad situation. Ira died 21 Sep 1895 in Albion, Dane, Wisconsin
