What's your reference for the Halversons living in Sun Prairie in 1900. I checked the 1900 US Census for Wisconsin and could not locate Halbert or Matilda Halverson, have you confirmed there location by the census? Is it possible they lived in the rural area around Sun Prairie in one of the townships, but had a Sun Prairie postal address? Most of the Norwegian families lived in the townships of Bristol or York near Sun Prairie. More information may help locate them.
