Mrs. Curphy is the former Nola Ruth Hetze, of Madison. Katherine is survived by her parents; and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Viola Hetze, 4137 Barby Lane; and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Erma Curphy, Marshalltown, Iowa. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Grace Episcopal Church, 6 N. Carroll St. The Rev. Paul Hoornstra, rector, will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Schroeder Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave., after 4 p.m. today. The family has suggested that memorials be made to leukemia research organizations.
