So, today I wanted to reach out to see where you are. Ain't this internet something?! I know that my mom, Ruth Larson, maintained the Christmas Card correspondence with you for many years. Mom passed away in 2002, and for several years prior to that time, I suspect the mailings got ever more sketchy. And now, I found your posting to someone on this web-site (which I located by Google on "Martin Luther Childrens Home"). I realize the posting was from Aug/Sept of 2005, so I hope that this thread is still active. In digging through a box of old photos that my dad took during his tenure at MLCH (1945-1955), I uncovered a number of pictures that may be of interest to you and others -- pictures of confirmation classes or even prom dresses. I recognized your picture immediately, and recalled your gift on the piano. I'll keep this posting brief, and hope that you respond in the near future.
