LURAAS, OSTEN K (1900 U.S. Census) WI, DANE, SPRINGDALE Age: 51, Male, Race: WHITE, Born: NORW Series: T623 Roll: 1784 Page: 79 (farmer w/ Guri? 39, Ida 13, Melvin 11, Charles 9, Clarence A 7, Clara 4, Emma 1, Lydia 2m) LURASS, AUSTIN (1910 U.S. Census) WI, EAU CLAIRE, UNION TWP Age: 63, Male, Race: WHITE, Born: NORW Series: T624 Roll: 1710 Page: 40 (Farmer w/ Julia 49, Ida 22, Melvin 21, Charles 19, Clarence 17, Clara 14, Emma 12, Lydia 10, William 7) (Julia listed as mother of 9, 8 living) LURRASS, AUSTIN K (1920 U.S. Census) WI, EAU CLAIRE, UNION Age: 72, Male, Race: WHITE, Born: NORW Series: T625 Roll: 1984 Page: 292 (farmer w/ Julia 59, Ida 32, Melvin A 31, Charles 29, Clarence 27) LURAAS, AUSTIN K (1930 U.S. Census) WI, EAU CLAIRE, UNION Age: 83, Male, Race: WHITE, Born: NORW Series: T626 Roll: 2572 Page: 139 (Widower, Farmer w/ Ida 42, Melvin A 41, Clarence A 37) For the 1920 census info on Lydia, she was living with her sister Emma, 21 at the time. Both were evidently employed in the furniture making trade. The house they were boarding in has Hugo Albert listed as the head of household and the address was 522 Mappa St. - which is/was between the Chippewa River and the current location of Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
