She passed away in September of 2004 of breast cancer that overtook her body. One of my friends noticed this on the roots web. I have forwarded your reply to my brother, Peter J. Riphahn, Jr. also. He has travelled to Germany quite a few times to vist and trace roots. I have been there only once.
