It jives with what John's granddaughter told me. Ancestry.com can be funny. I went to it and searched like you must have. There were articles on January 16, 1961 in the Appleton Post Crescent, Manitowoc Herald Times, the Sheboygan paper and Stevens Point paper. Because I do not have a membership, I could not read the articles. So, I went to my local library who has the "library" edition so that I could read each of the articles. When I did the search there, I got no results. Was there more to the article than what you posted? could you share it with me?
