De havde da to børn: Amund og Anna. Klaus Godskalkson Meland, som agtede at udvandre i 1837, var kanske deres søn ogsaa. Amund blev gift i Dane county, Wis., med Orlog Olsdatter Løken, Vossestranden, og flyyede til Goodhue county, Minnesota. Anna blev gift med Lars T. Gjesme og flyttede med foræaldrene til Iowa. Senere flyttede alle til Goodhue county, MInnesota." Godskalk Meland, born on the farm Meland, Vossestrand, and married at Voss. His wife was named Ragnild. They settled after their arrival in 1844 on a farm in vicinity of what later would be Stoughton, where they bought land, built and lived until well out into the 1850, when they sold the farm and moved to Allamakee County, Iowa. They had two children: Amund and Anna. Klaus Godskalkson Meland, who had planned to emigrate in 1837, was maybe their son also. Amund was married in Dane County, WI, with Orlog Olsdatter Løken, Vossestrand, and moved to Goodhue County, MN. Anna was married to Lars T. Gesme and moved with the parents to Iowa. Later they all moved to Goodhue County, MN. >From page 414 of the same book: "Godskalk Amundson Meland og svigersønnen Lars Gjesme kom til Allamakee county omkring 1854 fra Koshkonong. De flyttede senere til Goodhue county, Minn." too bad, not much info but at least it gives you a time frame. Godskalk Amundson Meland and his son-in-law Lars Gjesne came to Allamakee County about 1854 from Koshkonong. They later moved to Goodhue County, MN. I guess that's it.
