    3. Fr. Patrick F. Pettit died in 1899 in Dane County. There is an obituary for him in the Wisconsin Necrology records where the index states Volume 6. There is also a biographical sketch of him in the History of Dane County (1880) on pages 1020-1021. When I am at the library the next time I can check on these records.
