Severson Evansville -- George R. Severson, 83, retired area farmer, of 19 S. Fourth St., died last night in Stoughton Hospital after a long illness. Born Sept. 15, 1882, in Rutland Township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Severson, he married Clara Jorgensen of Rutland in 1903. She died in 1913. He married Mae Richards, Sept. 23, 1915. Survivng are his wife; a son, Lloyd, Evansville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles, in California and a sister, Mrs. Stella Bowen, Evansville. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Roderick-Ward Funeral Home, the Rev. Eldon Riggs, Methodist Church, officiating, with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
