I grew up in Cross Plains as well. There is considerable information on the Virnig family. I researched the Virnig name in the 1970s going back to the 1700s. I retired in 2006 and now have time again to pursue the genealogy further. I would be very interested in sharing information with my Virnig relative you are working with. Please email me.
