He is my ggreat grandfather, and the root of my side of the Gronenthal Family. His grandson was my grandfather. He married Helena Panzer in Germany in 1863 and they emigrated in 1869. They settled in Wisconsin and raised a large family. Some of the clan eventually moved west and settled in mainly Nebraska, North Dakota, and Wyoming. A few found their way to WA. state.
