Hi, Unfortunately, the Archives division does not interlibrary loan to ogranizations outside of the University of WI system. The UW has set up regional archive areas around the state and they only interlibrary loan to those locations. If the item you are requesting can be found in the main library/microforms room, then the item can be interlibraried to ANY participating library. So, how do you know the difference between those that can and those that can not? Check out the Wisconsin Historical Societies site (www.wisconsinhistory.org) and use the online catalogs MadCat and ArCat. If you find the item in MadCat - it can go anywhere. If you find it in ArCat - then it is within the UW system only. You can also get films from the Wisc. State Historical Society sent to your local library if your library participates in interlibrary loan. Some lucky people are in systems like mine where the library system picks up the cost. It is worth checking out. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to WIDANE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
