I have Roe, Field and McKeeby closely related and tied to Dane County Wisconsin! My G-g-Grandfather was Thomas Roe, b. 1828 Tioga Co. Pa, d. 1900 Dane county WI. He m. Evaline Gilbert and had children Roland, Blanche, Kate and Frances. Thomas Roe's parents were Samuel Roe and Maria McKeeb, str of Israel McKeeby. Samuel was b. ca 1798, in New York state. He had children - John W. Roe - possibly the one you seek b April 9, 1824, In Tioga PA, d. April 14, 1894. -Caroline Roe, -James Wesley "Whet" Roe -Thomas Roe (my ancestor) The Field connection I have is in Chicago - my mother's family. They married into the Roe descendants, so may not be the same Field people. I think we have the same John W. in our tree -- I wonder about the mother's maiden name: Maria Field, or Maria McKeeby?
