    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. She mentions the stones falling over and being walked on. Going quickly through the pages of the book I found something that said the Steele school became the Brown School after the Steeles moved away and it was then close to the Brown farm. Berta mentioned that her brother had told her the school was now a house. If you can locate the building compared to roads that existed on the 1873 map then you may be able to match it up with current roads on google earth or zillow.com and get a current address. I have been able to do that with one of my ancestor's home in Dunn Dane Co. There are people on these boards who can help with specific information to Dane Co. I'm far from Wisconsin and can only find things online and on Ancestry. For my Dane Co. ancestors I ordered Death Certificates from I believe the state of WI and they indicate what cemetery the person was buried in. I might have gotten then from Dane Co, it's been awhile. These people died from 1897 through the early 1900's though, later than Anna Erbe. So many of the old cemeteries have not been cataloged.
