William and Ellen's son Thomas Henry Potter married Bertha Lawrence (Dau of August and Bertha) on 25 Nov 1881 in a clerical ceremony in Madison, Dane Co., Wi. Kids are all single Bertha Potters death cert. born 27 Apr 1859 in Madison, Dane Co., Wi Died 09 Jan 1937 in Dane Co., Wi. Dad was John Lorenz, born in Germany mom was Bertha Maus born in Germany buried in Forest Hill cemetery on 12 Jan 1937 cod was myocardial degeneration duration 2 years and congestion of the lungs, duration 2 days. Buriel notice for Mrs. Bertha Potter from the Wisconsin State Journal, Monday, Jan 11, 1937 Mrs. Potters's Rites Set For Tuesday Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Potter, 77, of 1128 E.Gorham st., who died late Saturday, will be hled at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the homw, and at 9 a.m. in St. Patricks church, the Rev. A.V. Grace officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. Survivors are a daughter, Ida; three sons, Frank, George and Lorenz, Madison; six sisters, Mrs. Louise Chase, Mrs. Martha Rowland, Mrs. Harriet Quinn, Mrs. Edward Cox, all oof Madison; Mrs. Frank Fuller, Mason, City, IA; and Mrs. Arthur Rowland, Tracy, Minn.; a granddaughter, Mrs. Ercole Barsotti, Madison; and seven other grandchildren.
