Tom: the naturalization records should be in the Archives division of the State Historical Society in Madison. They are the Area Research Center for Columbia, Dane, etc. counties and are located on the 4th floor of the Society building at the west end of State St. near the Memorial Library and Memorial Union. There are index volumes, etc. By separate email, I'm sending you the information from the Archives online catalog about the naturalization materials for Columbia Co. If you have questions about the division, please check their website: http://www.shsw.wisc.edu/archives/ Alan At 06:25 AM 4/1/99 -0800, WICOLUMB-D-request@rootsweb.com wrote: >WICOLUMB-D Digest Volume 99 : Issue 7 > >Today's Topics: > #1 naturalization records [Tom Krakow <tomkrakow@juno.com>] > >______________________________X-Message: #1 >Date: Tue, 30 Mar 1999 23:09:45 -0600 >From: Tom Krakow <tomkrakow@juno.com> >To: WICOLUMB-L@rootsweb.com >Message-ID: <19990331.142807.6822.0.TomKrakow@juno.com> >Subject: naturalization records > >Hello, > >Where are the early Naturalization papers for Columbia County?
