Hello, Where are the early Naturalization papers for Columbia County? The particulars: family name of GEYMANN or GEYMAN, German, settled in Columbia County 1842-1847 time frame in the Caledonia area. I have tried the Portage Court House, and some of the LDS records, but never found my relatives. Any suggestions would be welcome. So far, I have not tried homestead papers, but I don't think that they homesteaded. I believe they got the land through transfer of deeds. Thanks.
