According to Johanna Dora Knoll Sanger's obituary from the July 11, 1935 paper - Dora was 24 years old when she came with her brother Henry Knoll to the United States from Germany. She was married to Charles Sanger near Neilsville, Clark County, Wisconsin on February 16, 1891. In March, 1891, they moved to Hand County, South Dakota. Those persons attending her funeral from Granton, Clark County, Wisconsin were Mrs. William Grottke and son David (Dora's daughter), Henry Knoll (brother), Mr and Mrs. Henry Knoll, Jr (nephew), Mr. Ernest Sanger (relationship unknown). Other persons from Wisconsin included Mrs. Milton Hawley from Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eide of Neilsville (relationship unknown). According to Charles and Dora's only living child (who is 93 years old)- Charles had several siblings that she can remember - Susie and Bertha. These names appear in Biographies on this sight - Albrecht and Schlinsog. I'm trying to establish if I am working on the correct family tree.
