Once again I will explain a few things. The reason everyone on the WICLARK list receives a copy of all the obituaries and biographies is because the WICLARK list and the GenConnect Board on the web are LINKED! That means that everything that gets posted to the website *automatically* gets sent to the mail list. There are several advantages to this: 1. No need to remember to check a website regularly to see if anything pertaining to your search has been added. 2. People who post to the GenConnect site are not necessarily subscribers to the mail list; therefore the potential to find new cousins is increased. 3. Once the information has been downloaded to your mailbox, you can read through it at YOUR pace rather than being restricted to the time you are physically connected to the web. 4. And of course there is the fact that we receive informative, valuable data to help us in our searches. **Everything** posted to the Clark Co. GenConnect board is sent to WICLARK list... not just the bios and obits. Queries, wills, and all other info posted to the website will be sent. I CHALLENGE ALL OF YOU TO POST AT LEAST ONE THING TO THE WEBSITE SO WE CAN SAY WE HAVE HELPED THE EFFORTS OF THE FEW PEOPLE WHO HAVE POSTED A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF VALUABLE INFORMATION. Go to http://www.rootsweb.com/~wiclark/ and follow the GenConnect Links (Queries, Biographies, Obituaries). There are approximately 100 list members..... so that will make for quite a bit of information. It takes no more time to add to the website than it does to type an email to the list.
