My g-grandparents, Frank Whitcomb & Laura Porter divorced in Eau Claire. Frank married Celistia Bently in Eau Claire in 1876, dau of Edward & Lois Bently. The Whitcombs & Bentlys lived in Humbird, Clark Co.. Frank & Celitia had a son, Roy Whitcomb born 1879. Frank who worked for the railroad, died in Humbird Jan. 4, 1881 at the age of 33 & is buried along with his parents, Levi & Mary Jane Whitcomb in Houghtonburg Cemetery at Alma Center. Celistia remarried Frederick Rovee in Eau Claire in 1889. So far, I havn't been able to find the whereabouts of Roy, his mother, Celistia & Frederick Rovee, in vital records & census.
