3. Kay The info that you sent me makes me curious about MARTHA HALL. This seems to be Nina's mother, but she had married THOMAS O'LEARY in 1891. I wonder why she would be buried with her first husband's name? Are there any O'Learys listed in the index? Verna

1. [WICLARK] Stan & Jan
2. Robert Herald
3. Hello, all. Well, it looks like Janet's nimble fingers have finally cramped up! (Actually, I think the GenConnect Server has not come back yet.) There has been a little grumbling about the quantity of Janet's posts. I, for one, am eternally indebted to Janet. All of the work she and Stan have done to post obits and bios will live forever in the Genconnect databases. The current and future genealogists will have a MUCH easier time finding their ancestors because of Stan & Janet. All of their entries are indexed and stored in the monster Surname Helper database which can be accessed from Clark County or any other county in the US. Genealogists from New York can find their ancestors that migrated to Clark County, thanks to these two. There are also several others who have unselfishly entered information that does not pertain to their own families. This is truly a gift of love. If you have found any of these selfless entries to the Genconnect databases (and then to this maillist) helpful or interesting, please respond to this maillist with a "Thanks!" Bob Herald

2. <<Does anyone know the name and address of the newspaper that covers Clark County?>> You might want to check out this website. It lists quite a few newspapers in Wisconsin for public notices and there is one for Neillsville, which is in Clark County: Bulletin Newspaper Index

2. Mary Gunn
3. Hi All, I am in several lists and I get lots of emails, also, but I like it just the way it is and see no reason for a change. The way the digest comes each email has to be opened separately any way so I see no need to increase the size of the mailings. Just my two cents worth. Mary -----Original Message----- From: L. R. With the amount of geneology lists i belong to this list > fills my box fast ! > I understand where you're coming from, Bill. I accumulated almost 400 e-mail this week while off doing other things. Over half from Rootsweb lists. But the data is valuable. I'd hate to see it reduced. I wonder if we could encourage the listowner to perhaps increase the size factor on the Digests so that I don't get three Digests a day from this list. That would make my mail handling a little easier. Lou
