Wi Obituaries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/ClarkObits/11204 Surname: VOIGT, HALROEDER ------------------------- I'm interested in any additional information you might have on August and Friedricke Voigt. I think August Voigt may be the brother of my g-g-grandmother. I had been under the impression that they had lived in Watertown, but I hvae recently come to believe that to be wrong. I have been researching this family a couple of years. I have a marriage record on 7 Nov 1873 for August Friedrich Wilhelm Voigt and Friedricke Wilhelmine Ernstine Halbroeder in Karnitz, Kreis Greifenberg, Pommern, Germany. I have been unable to find August's birth record or my great-great grandmother's. I have found their two youngest brothers, Wilhelm and Albert, if this is the right August, who immigrated to Iowa. My greatuncle, Fred Voigt of Tuttle, Oklahoma died in 1989. He had a stool supposed to have been made by his Uncle Gus. Are you connected to this family?

One being St. Mary's and the other being Colby Memorial. There is a project going on in Clark County to identify all cemeteries and all plot names per cemetery but it is a long way from completion. Depending on the religous affiliation, you may get quicker results via contacting the individual churches in the Colby area. These can be obtained via the internet. I do not live in that area or I would be able to help you with the information. Regards, Robert Lipprandt

I'd have to ask my dad why that was so. Needless to say we've never found anything farther. Which line are you from? I'm so excited that I may have finally found a cousin. Posted on: Clark Co. Wi Biographies Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Wi/ClarkBios/10404 Surname: SANGER, KNOLL, GROTTKE, EIDE ------------------------- I am trying to find out information on Charles Sanger and his family. Charles's only living child who is over 90 years old seems to remember that he had several siblings: Susie and Bertha are whom she can think of. I was curious if Bertha Sanger would be the same as Aunt Anita remembers (and she apologizes for her memory). Some of the information is close to what I have found and I'm hoping you can possibly verify that I am in the correct tree. Charles Sanger was born in 1866 in Germany. According the Hand County Centenniel book, he came to the USA around 1870 when he was 4 years old (written by his son). The biography information has 1872. He married Dora (Johanna) Knoll on February 16, 1891 near Nealsville, Wisconsin. In March,1891 they moved to South Dakota. At Dora Knoll Sanger's funeral were several family members from Granton Wisconsin: Henry Knoll (Dora's brother), Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knoll, Jr (assuming nephew), Mrs. William Grottke (a daughter), David Grottke (a nephew), Mrs. Milton Hawley (unknown from Greenwood, Wisconsin), Mr and Mrs Harry Eide (Unknown from Neilsville, Wisc), and Ernest Sanger (Unknown from Granton, Wisc). Information from the Redfield Press in South Dakota from Mrs. Sanger's obituary notice. If you can shed any light on this illusive family for me, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks for your time and interest. Deb Sanger dsanger2@home.com
